Texchange is a technical Intranet Project
having three Channels to begin with, which includes techTalk, docDepot, Tips
‘n’ Techniques. The main aim of this project is to enable employees of this
organization to exchange technical information. techTalk enables discussion
to take place in a Threaded Fashion. techTalk uses highly robust n-tier architecture
( MVC / FrontServlet/ CommandBean Frame Work Architecture), with WebLogic
as Application Server, XML as the technology and implementation of J2EE pattern
for scalability and performance with Linux as Operating System.techTalk
allow users to communicate with each other in an on going, in-depth
technical discussions as opposed to “chat” where conversations are brief,
visible only to current participants, and is short lived, techTalk posts are
longer and remain visible(as well as browseable and searchable), allowing
richer exchanges to take pace. techTalk forums
are a great place to debate issues, find advices and solutions.docDepot is Document
repository where the different kinds of Document are available for the users.
Users can Upload the Documents to the repository. Tips ‘n’ Techniques is a
module in which user can post Tips(suggestions), and Techniques (solutions)
to a perticular problem.

The main objective of this application is to provide American
Express Brokerage Account Holders Portfolio information to Portfolio Evaluator
Tool(PET). PET requests for account information, aggregation services authenticates
and intern request from Vantra an mainframe application. The requests and
responses are performed using XML over
http. The application receives request in PET XML format which is converted into Vantra Format
and the request is made on Vantra. The application receives responses from
vantra which is converted into PET format and send as a response to PET. The
application involved extensive coding in xml using java.

It provides online transactions to its customers by guiding them with user friendly GUI, the customer of hometown willl be given a userid and password to acces their accounts. Customer can shop the products listed within www.homebank.com. The day to day transactions will be placed in the transaction master to maintain consistency. The clients will be isolated from each other through different isolation levels and transaction provided at method level, bean level based on requirements.

All business logic as session beans and persistence operations as entity beans.Involved in development of dynamic xml generators to make bean more efficient by reducing database connectivity to reduce resource maintenance Involed in development of xml forms to send data over net work by reducing network traffic.

Intranet Mailing System is applicable within an organization only. The organizations have shift systems and it becomes difficult for an employee of one shift to communicate with another employee of different shift. In these circumstances the Intranet Mailing System proves its worth. If the organization has an Intranet Mailing facility available to all its employees then each employee can register himself and send mails to any other registered employee and thus making the communication easier. The mails that the employee and thus making the communication easier. The mails that the employees send reaches the destination within no time. Although the Intranet Mailing System works in a similar fashion as that of an Intranet Mailing System there is no need to get an internet connection for our mailing system. The various branches of this organizaton can be connected to single host server and then an employee of one branch can send a message to an employee of another branch.
